Update on Breast Cancer Post~

I received some information in the mail today regarding Breast Cancer Relief Foundation and want to share it with you all.

This webpage covers their mission to ensure every American women has their screening done.  So, click on it if you are needing help with your screenings.

The organization also helps out many women in the third world countries.

Here’s the stats:

  • Every three minutes an American is diagnosed with breast cancer.
  • One women in seven who lives to age 85 will develop breast cancer during their lifetime.
  • Breast cancer is the leading cause of death in women between the ages of 40 and 55.
  • Seventy percent of all breast cancers are found through self-exams.  Not all lumps are detectable by touch.
  • Eight out of ten breast lumps are not cancerous.

On a lighter note, Full Moon is up for today, beware of crazy people, animals and/or events!
